China’s prestigious private enterprises gathered in Yabuli for Heilongjiang’s rejuvenation

Nearly 70 renowned Chinese entrepreneurs gathered in Yabuli, a country in northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, for a democratic conference on the rejuvenation prospect of Heilongjiang on Feb. 17. They are the outstanding private entrepreneurs selected for the 40’s anniversary of the reform and opening-up policy, members of the Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum (YCEF), and entrepreneurs planning to invest in Heilongjiang.


Xu Lejiang, secretary of the party leadership and executive vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), and Zhang Qingwei, Heilongjiang provincial party secretary, attended and addressed at the meeting. Wang Wentao, governor of Heilongjiang province, presided over the meeting. Fan Youshan, vice chairman of the ACFIC, also attended.


Xu pointed out that holding a democratic conference was an implementation of the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s remarks at the symposium on China’s private entrepreneurs and the conference on rejuvenating northeast industry.


He said the conference was meaningful in guiding private entrepreneurs to participate in the rejuvenation and in speeding up high-quality development.


The rejuvenation of northeast China relies not only on state-run corporations but also private economy, said Xu. “We must learn and implement Xi’s remarks and create good environment and provide good service for private enterprises so as to provide inexhaustible driving force for the rejuvenation of northeast China.”


Xu encouraged private enterprises to take an active move in the process.


Heilongjiang has advantages in land, forest, mineral, and ecological resources with good industrial foundation. Since the 18th national congress of the communist party of China (CPC), the CPC Central Committee and the State Council have made a series of decisions and arrangements on the rejuvenation of northeast China, leaving huge potential for this area.


Xu urged private entrepreneurs to grasp this historical opportunity and respond to the national campaign and turn their attention to Heilongjiang in its advanced manufacturing industry, deep processing of agricultural products, medical and health-care industry, cultural tourism, and the military-civilian integration.


Xu asked the Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum, which is also a group member of the ACFIC, to make long term plans and strive to nurture a national class entrepreneurship while promoting the social economic development of Heilongjiang.


He introduced that the ACFIC had been committed to build a good business environment with clean political and business relations, and had been supporting the rejuvenation of northeast China and Heilongjiang’s economic development. “The federations of industry of commerce at all levels should fulfill the role of bridging government and enterprise by listening to private entrepreneurs, learning their situations, helping with docking and implementing relevant policies.”


Zhang Qingwei extended sincere respect for the entrepreneurs attending this conference on behalf of the provincial party leadership and government, and expressed appreciation to the ACFIC, YCEF and entrepreneurs for their participation and support.


He said that Heilongjiang would continue carrying out President’s Xi’s remarks on emancipating the mind, deepening reform and expanding opeing-up to restore a new business environment that making Heilongjiang a real incubator for investment.


He introduced that private economy had accounted for half of the provincial revenue with a potential of two thirds in the future.


He asked the attendees to grasp opportunities and to promote practical cooperation for win-win development. Meanwhile, he hoped that they could help tell the advantages of Heilongjiang to more people so as to gather more strength.


Zhang expressed sincere support for the YCEF to take root in Heilongjiang and they would continue optimizing the investment and business environment.

Made speeches on the conference and shared their experience and suggestions on rejuvenating northeast China, building good environment of business and the development of Yabuli county.
