Georgian New Ambassador Visits ACFIC


Georgia"s new Ambassador to China Mamuka Gamkrelidze invited Chinese enterpises to invest and open factories in Georgia, especially in hydropower and textile industries, and hoped to introduce China"s advanced tea production technology to his country. ACFIC Vice Chairman Chu Ping said that he will take a number of Chinese enterprises with investment potentials with him to Georgia this year for inspection, exchanges and study. The two metat ACFIC headquarters on March 2.
 

Noting that bilateral trade volume has seen steady growth in recent years, the ambassador briefed Chu about Georgia"s preferential policies for foreign investors. He said that the country can serve as a gateway to the European and Amercian markets which grant special privileges to Georgia.

Chu said that the two countries have been connected by the Silk Road hundreds of years ago and that Georgia enjoys unique geographical advantages.

He said that China encourages its enterprises to go global to realize complementarity in advantages and resources on the condition of mutual benefit and win-win.
