KCC Delegation Visits ACFIC

ACFIC Vice Chairman Li Lu enlisted the help of his Hong Kong colleagues in helping both the Mainland and Hong Kong private enterprises to go global during a meeting with a four-member delegation of the Kowloon Chamber of Commerce led by its Executive Council Chairman Conrad K.W. Lee in Beijing on April 11.

Li praised the KCC for its devoted efforts in rallying the Hong Kong business circle and its contribution to the economic development of both the Mainland and Hong Kong.

Li said that private enterprises in the Mainland have been gaining great strength and momentum over more than 30 years of reform and opening-up and that many of them are now ready and set to seek international cooperation abroad and explore international market.

Regarding Hong Kong"s status as a cosmopolis with an extensive and sound capital market and service system, he said that the chambers of commerce of both Hong Kong and the Mainland should work together to boost the cooperation of their entrepreneurs, build bridges and provide services for their drive to the international market.

Lee said that the KCC is willing to strengthen cooperation with the ACFIC, and tap its own advantages to boost the exchanges and cooperation between the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan areas, and provide better services for their members.
