The first meeting of the 11th ACFIC Standing Committee focused on mobilizing the personages in the non-public economy, especially the owners of micro and small firms, to participate in a campaign to boost their faith in socialism with Chinese characteristics, their trust in the CPC and the government and their confidence in the development of their own companies.
Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Committee and ACFIC CPC Committee Secretary Quan Zhezhu told the meeting in Lanzou on June 20 that the "Entrepreneurs and China Dream" campaign has made a good start with the establishment of activity leadership groups in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
He said that the personages of the non-public economy should be encouraged to lead the campaign, setting an examplary role in helping micro and small firms and talking about their growth paths, dreams and contributions.
But he said that county federations of industry and commerce and chambers of commerce, which should have the the widest, the most frequent and direct links with the small enterprises are yet to be mobilized.
The meeting was attended by about 150 people, including ACFIC Chairman Wang Qinmin, 22 ACFIC Vice Chairpersons, eight ACGCIC Vice Chairmen, the ACFIC Standing Committee members, and top officials from the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Gansu government.
