AFIC Hosts Legal Training Course

Nearly 200 staff from the legal affairs departments of ACFIC, provincial and municipal federations of industry and commerce, and leaders of chambers of commerce and member enterprises attended a training course on corporate legal risks control in the Central Academy of Socialist Studies in Beijing on April 24.

The training, given by legal experts, including those from the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme People’s Court, touched upon business frauds control, private enterprises’ credit construction, characteristics, prevention and control of entrepreneurs’ criminal liabilities, General Provisions of the Civil Law, prevention and pre-warning of overseas investment risks, enterprises’ legal risks management, and construction of harmonious labor relations.

Participants exchanged views on legal service in chambers of commerce and corporate legal risks prevention and control, while COC representatives put forward a proposal on furthering the “Laws Enter COCs” campaign in a solid and profound manner.  

At the opening class, ACFIC Vice Chairman urged FICs and COCs to carry forward the educational campaign on political faith, ideals, and morale and strengthen education and publicity on the rule of law to safeguard enterprises’ legal rights and interests, firm up their confidence, and lift the quality of legal work by FICS.
