ACFIC Chairman and CPPCC Vice Chairman Wang Qinmin led a team of senior members of the Economic Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consutative Conference for research on the construction of clean, clear, and close government-business relations for healthy development of the non-public economy in Fuzhou and Quanzhou cities of South China’s Fujian Province from May 8 to 12.

The team tapped the views of the main leaders of the provincial government and CPC Committee, the Discipline and Inspection Committee, the People’s Procuratorate, the United Front Work Department, the Reform and Development Commission, the Industry and Information Technology Commission, the Finance Department, the Banking Regulatory Commission and Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as local entrepreneurs and representatives of Chambers of Commerce.

Wang noted that President Xi Jinping’s important thought about building a clean, clear and close, new type government-business relationship pointed out the right direction toward boosting normal contacts between government officials and entrepreneurs and cultivating a business-friendly social environment conducive to business prosperity and stability.

He said that the Fujian authority has attached great importance to building clean, clear and close government-business ties and he stressed that Fujian’s multiple measures to inspire entrepreneurs’ spirit of innovation and boost development of the non-public economy have been effective.

Noting that the southern province has a well-developed non-public economy which accounts for two third of its entire economic aggregate, the Chairman expressed hope that Fujian will deepen its study and implementation of the geist of Xi’s important speech, consistently pursue solutions to problems, and explore and accumulate more and better practices and experiences in carrying forward the administrative reform centering on power devolvement, supervision and service, the reform of investment and financing mechanisms and institutions and the construction of social credit networks.

Previously, Wang also led the research team to Jinan and Dongying cities of East China’s Shandong Province from April 20 to 24. Both of the researches were made in preparation for a CPPCC-hosted consultative meeting on the same subject.
