Wang Qinmin Attends 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

CPPCC Vice Chairman and ACFIC Chairman Wang Qinmin said China welcomes small and medium-sized enterprises of all countries to participate in the land and maritime economic Belt and Road construction and is eager to build platforms for win-win SME cooperation to boost development of the global economy, during his attendance at the 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia from June 1 to 3.

In his speech at the Panel Session on the Influence of SME Ecosystems on the Global Economy, Wang gave the audience an introduction on Chinese SMEs’ achievement and successful practices, as well as the government’s mass entrepreneurship and mass innovation strategy.

Wang also met with Boris Titov, Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights and Chairman of the Russian part of the Russian-Chinese Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development, and Russian-Chinese Business Council Chairman Gennady Timchenko for discussions on tightening exchange between the countries’ business circles and promotes cooperation between their small and medium-sized enterprises.

Chinese Ambassador to Russia Li Hui, ACFIC Vice Chairman and CPPCC member Xu Guanju, CPPCC Economic Committee member, ACFIC Standing Committee member Zheng Yuewen, and CPC Committee member of CPPCC Headquarters Zhou Xinjian attended the meeting and the Forum.
